How to Create The WordPress Default page with Pinegrow

Single.php is used to display single posts in WordPress.

Page.php is used as the default WordPress page.

Once we create this page we can add content to our pages using the WordPress visual editor.

Let’s create the default WordPress page now in Pinegrow:

First, make sure the WordPress page builder is activated. Deselect this is the master page and set index.html as the master page.

Open page.html.

We should always call the page we will use as the default WordPress page, page dot html.

Let’s create the basic WordPress loop.

Select the Article container.

Add the ID action from the posts section.

This will add the ID for the post.

Select the title tag.

Add the title action under Posts. This will be the title of our post.

Select the paragraph tag

Add the content action from the Posts section. This will add the content we create in WordPress.

Select the Article container again.

Add the loop action from the loops section.

Save and export the theme

How to add the featured image option with Pinegrow

Let’s create a featured image section so we can easily add images to our post in WordPress.

Select the header DIV.

Add the featured image background action from the Posts section.

Enter FULL in the size field.

Select the title tag.

Add the title action under Posts.

Save the page.

We can see the page was exported to our theme with the PHP extension.

Edit the content in WordPress to make sure everything is working correctly.

Update the page to save it.

Our default page Works!

Finally, copy and paste the URL of the inner page into the preview page URL in the WordPress Site setting in Pinegrow.
